My name is Mallory Black. I graduated in May from Georgia Tech where I played softball for four years So just wanted to come on today and talk a little bit about burnout with you guys I know it's January one of the toughest months to be a college softball player getting back into the swing of things I know it can seem a little crazy right now, but just trust the process You're gonna be just fine and it'll be all worth it.
When game day comes in February. So I just wanted to talk to you guys a little bit about burnout. I know it's something I definitely dealt with in my time as a college athlete for many reasons. January for one is a grueling month, but the season's also long. And when your performance can go up and down as it does in softball, it can be hard to kind of keep a level head and not feel like you're getting burnt out from your sport.
And... you know, your mental plays a big part in it. So I just wanted to share some tools and some tips that I used when I was at Georgia Tech that helped me really level myself and get back into the swing of things. So first of all, I would use this journal. You can get whichever one you want. I got this on Amazon, it was like $8. So it basically just goes through some affirmations, a to-do list.
stuff you want to manifest and stuff you're thankful for. So gratitude.
