Things I wish I could have told my younger self as a d1softball player....

Things I wish I could have told my younger self as a d1softball player

1. Don’t be afraid to fail you failing does not define where you will be in the future I promise.

2. Be comfortable with being uncomfortable, put yourself in uncomfortable situations on the field. It will make you stronger.

3. Do not care what other people think about you your process is your process.

4. Remember, it is just a game. It is not your life. It is a game. 5. Do not let a game dictate your value or your worth.

6. Be kind to yourself don’t break yourself down over a game.

7. Do not put extra pressure on yourself. It is unnecessary and you have worked too hard.

8. Don’t cry it’s OK everything will be OK.

9. Don’t worry about being recruited. You will end up where you were meant to be.

10. Time flies embrace your childhood!! Have fun at the softball tournaments and don’t stress. It goes by so fast!

Reflecting on these valuable lessons from my D1 softball journey, I'm reminded of the importance of self-compassion, resilience, and embracing the present moment.
